Description
Spray Boom (Manual, Hydraulic, Electric)
(For tractors of 40 HP and above)
Device Application
This sprayer is used to combat a wide variety of pests, diseases, and weeds. It’s suitable for fields of wheat, barley, and other crops, providing even and uniform spraying.
What distinguishes boom sprayers from other types is their ability to control the spray pattern. Nozzles are typically spaced 50 cm apart along the boom. The liquid is released at a specific angle, making it easy to ensure the field surface is covered completely and uniformly with adequate overlap.
Types of Boom Sprayer Models
- Simple Mechanical: With working widths of 10 and 12 meters.
- Professional Hydraulic: With working widths of 14, 16, 20, 24, and 28 meters.
Key Features
-1Durable Tank: The sprayer features a three-part polyethylene tank that is resistant to direct sunlight, chemicals, and various pesticides. The tank includes: a) a main tank, b) a hand-wash tank, and c) a circuit-washing tank.
-2Uniform Spraying: Ensures a consistent spray pattern due to uniform droplet size and the elimination of human error.
-3Boom Stability: Booms wider than 14 meters are equipped with windbreakers along the nozzles and shock absorbers to prevent damage from uneven terrain.
-4Adjustable Height: The boom height can be adjusted from 25 to 70 cm mechanically and from 50 to 180 cm using hydraulic or electric systems.
-5Anti-Drip Nozzles: Simple mechanical boom sprayers are equipped with anti-drip brass nozzles to prevent pesticide waste.
-6Hydraulic Mixer: A hydraulic mixer ensures the uniform distribution of the solution and prevents pesticides from settling during spraying.
-7Self-Filling System: The sprayer includes a suction-based tank filler to prevent the main tank from contaminating water sources. A filter is built into the lid to help dissolve powdered pesticides.
-8Adjustable Nozzles: Professional hydraulic models feature three-position graded nozzles for use with different types of pesticides.
-9Multi-Stage Filtration: The system includes a plastic filter to separate large debris, a brass-silicon filter for medium-sized particles, and a final valved glass-silicon filter at the end to prevent sand and other small particles from clogging the nozzles.
-10Separate Hydraulic Tank: On 3,000-liter sprayers, a separate hydraulic tank is installed to save time.
-11Adjustable Wheels: On trailer-type sprayers, the wheels can be adjusted for use on slopes.
-12Lockable Hitch: Features a lockable articulated hitch, which, when unlocked, allows the sprayer to turn in a smaller radius.
-13LED Lights: Equipped with LED lights for spraying at night and for safe road travel.
-14Adjustable Axle: The axle (width and height) and hitch (length) are adjustable on trailer-type sprayers.
-15Optional Electric Pressure Reducer: An optional electric pressure reducer can be installed.
-16Hydraulic Locks: Sprayers with wider working widths are equipped with hydraulic locks for stability when spraying on slopes.
